Information

The 1/2" × 1/4" BSP Class 3000 ASTM A105 Reducing Coupling belongs to the group of high-pressure threaded fittings. It is designed for connecting pipes with different BSP thread sizes in demanding pressure piping systems. Manufactured from forged ASTM A105 carbon steel, it provides a reliable, durable, and leak-tight threaded connection.

Reducing couplings are available in a full range of inch sizes. Each fitting is permanently marked with its size, material grade, heat number, and pressure class, ensuring complete traceability and compliance with industry standards. All threaded fittings are available with a 3.1 material certificate.

Material

ASTM A105 is a forged carbon steel widely used for pressure piping components and threaded fittings operating at ambient and elevated temperatures. It offers excellent mechanical strength, good machinability, and outstanding weldability.

Advantages

  • BSP female threads
  • Pressure class: Class 3000 (206 bar)
