Information
1/2" BSP × 1/4" NPT A105 Male-Female Reducing Adapter belongs primarily to the group of threaded high-pressure fittings. Reducers are available in all inch sizes. Each reducer is marked with its size, material grade and heat number. It ensures installation safety and durability. All threaded fittings are supplied with 3.1 certificates.
Advantages: easy selection of thread and steel grade.
Disadvantages: not available in metric sizes.
A105 steel is a carbon steel commonly used for pipeline components, flanges and fittings. This carbon steel grade is primarily intended for operation at ambient and elevated temperatures and for use in pressure installations. It offers good machinability, as with other low-alloy steels. It is also suitable for welding.
Application: used for oil and gas transmission, petrochemical plants, power plants, pressure vessels, etc.
Properties similar to grades: 1.0460, C22.8, P245GH, P265GH, P285GH, S235JR.
