Information

Coupling 3/4''-1/2'' socket weld A105 cl.3000 belongs to the group of Socket Weld SW where the pipe is welded in the socket (inlet). Socket welded with a pipe form tight structure of the system. Socket Weld (SW) system ensures safety, durability and resistance to rupture of the system. Such welding is well praised by the welders. During welding, the pipe is inserted into the socket and does not move what ensures better freedom. The weld resists bigger pressures. SW fittings allow easy selection of the pressure of the system. Each fitting is stamped with size, grade, melt and pressure rating. All SW fittings have 3.1 certificates.

Advantages: the pipe does not require beveling for welding. Socket Weld fittings do not require special preparation, and are an alternative to threaded fittings.

Rating: each fitting is stamped with size, grade, melt and pressure class. Sometimes also the type of thread (the manufacture and rating is in accordance with current standards).

Steel grade A105 – – it is carbon steel very often used for components of the pipelines, flanges and fittings. This grade of carbon steel is used for operation in ambient temperatures and higher, and operation in pressure systems. It has goods machining properties as in the case of each low-alloyed steel. Weldable steel.

The grade used in socket weld fittings, elbows, tees, joint kits, unions, flanges, joints etc.

Application: grade used for transport of crude oil and gas, in petrochemical plants, power plants, etc.
