Information about the High-Pressure Steel Plug

The plug is manufactured from A105 carbon steel, a material widely used for piping components and forged fittings. This carbon steel grade is intended for pressure systems operating at ambient and elevated temperatures. It offers good machinability and excellent weldability.

Applications: oil and gas transmission, petrochemical plants, power stations, pressure vessels and similar industrial installations.

Similar material grades:
1.0460, C22.8, P245GH, P265GH, P285GH.

Marking: each plug is stamped with the size, material grade, heat number and pressure class. In some cases, the thread type is also marked. Manufacturing and marking comply with applicable standards.

The plugs provide reliable sealing and long service life.

Advantages: easy thread identification and material selection.

Limitations: not available with metric threads.
