Information
A105 is a carbon steel commonly used for piping components and fittings. This carbon steel grade is intended for pressure systems operating at ambient and elevated temperatures. A105 offers excellent weldability.
Applications: oil and gas transmission, petrochemical plants, power stations, pressure vessels and similar industrial installations.
Similar material grades: 1.0460, C22.8, P245GH, P265GH, P285GH
Marking: each fitting is stamped with the size, material grade, heat number and pressure class. In some cases, the thread type is also marked. Marking is carried out in accordance with the applicable standards.
