Information
The 1 1/2'' Socket Weld A105 Class 3000 Half-Socket belongs to the category of "high-pressure fittings," where the pipe is welded into the socket (recess). The socket welded to the pipe creates a leak-proof structure in the installation. The Socket Weld (SW) system guarantees safety, durability, and inseparability of the installation. With SW fittings, it is easy to select the pressure for the installation. Each fitting is marked with its size, grade, heat number, and pressure class. All SW fittings come with a 3.1 certification.
Advantages
- The pipe does not require bevelling for welding. Socket Weld fittings do not require special preparations and serve as an alternative to threaded fittings.

Steel Grade A105
Steel Grade A105 is a carbon steel frequently used in piping components and fittings, such as the Socket Weld SW 1 1/2'' A105 3000. This carbon steel grade is used in pressure installations at ambient temperatures and above. It has good machinability, similar to other low-alloy steels. Grade A105 is well-weldable.
Applications
This grade is used for the transmission of oil and gas, in petrochemicals, power plants, pressure vessels, etc.
