Socket Weld Union 1 1/2'' A105 Class 3000 is a two-piece Socket Weld union designed for quick assembly and disassembly of high-pressure piping systems. The metal-to-metal cone seat provides a reliable leak-tight seal, while the Socket Weld design ensures a strong and permanent welded connection.

Socket Weld (SW) System

Socket Weld fittings belong to the high-pressure forged fitting category. The pipe is inserted into the socket before welding, ensuring precise alignment and excellent weld quality. This connection method provides maximum strength and reliability in pressure systems.

Each fitting is permanently marked with its size, material grade, heat number, and pressure class. A 3.1 material certificate is available on request.

ASTM A105 Carbon Steel

ASTM A105 is a forged carbon steel widely used for piping components, flanges, valves, and forged fittings operating at ambient and elevated temperatures. It offers excellent weldability, machinability, and mechanical strength for demanding pressure applications.
