Alternative Name: Reducing Socket Weld Coupling 2" × 1 1/2" A350 LF2 Class 3000, high-pressure SW coupling, reducing socket weld fitting, forged socket weld coupling, pipe coupling, boiler steel fitting, P355GH, S355JR.

Information

The 2" × 1 1/2" Socket Weld Coupling A350 LF2 Class 3000 belongs to the family of high-pressure Socket Weld (SW) fittings, where the pipe is welded into a recessed socket. The welded socket creates a leak-tight piping system, ensuring maximum safety, durability, and reliability. The Socket Weld (SW) system allows easy selection of the required pressure class. Every fitting is permanently marked with its size, material grade, heat number, and pressure class. All Socket Weld fittings are available with a 3.1 material certificate.

Advantages

  • The pipe does not require beveling before welding.
  • No special preparation is required before installation.
  • An excellent alternative to threaded fittings.

Marking

Each fitting is marked with its size, material grade, heat number, pressure class, and in some cases the thread type, in accordance with applicable standards.

Material

A350 LF2 is a low-alloy carbon steel used for forged fittings, flanges, valves, and connectors. It is primarily intended for low-temperature service and offers excellent weldability.

Suitable operating temperatures:

  • LF1: down to -20°F
  • LF2: down to -50°F
  • LF3: down to -150°F

Equivalent grades: S355J2, 1.0570, A333 Grade 2.

Material

  • A350 LF2 carbon steel
  • Suitable for low-temperature service
  • Excellent weldability
  • High mechanical strength

Advantages

  • High-pressure design
  • Suitable for low-temperature applications
  • Excellent weldability
  • Long service life
  • Manufactured according to ANSI B16.11

Applications

Industrial piping systems, refineries, boilers, steel industry, marine industry, power generation, and process installations.
