Information about the LF2 Steel Tee

A350 LF2 is a low-alloy steel used for forged fittings, flanges, valves and connectors. It is primarily intended for low-temperature service and offers excellent weldability. Suitable for temperatures down to -20°F (LF1), -50°F (LF2) and -150°F (LF3).

Reducing Tee 1" × 3/4" Socket Weld P355 LF2 Class 3000 (SW) belongs to the family of high-pressure fittings where the pipe is welded into a socket. The welded socket forms a leak-tight piping system. The Socket Weld (SW) system provides safety, durability and permanent joint integrity.

This welding method is highly appreciated by welders because the pipe is inserted into the socket and remains properly aligned during welding, providing easier handling and improved joint quality. Socket Weld joints are also capable of withstanding higher operating pressures. SW fittings make pressure class selection simple, and all Socket Weld fittings are available with a 3.1 certificate.

Marking: each fitting is stamped with the size, material grade, heat number and pressure class.
