The 1" Socket Weld Elbow P355 LF2 Class 3000 45° belongs to the group of high-pressure Socket Weld fittings, where the pipe is inserted into the socket before welding. The welded socket creates a permanent, leak-tight connection. The Socket Weld (SW) system provides excellent strength, safety, and durability, making it ideal for high-pressure piping systems.

The socket design keeps the pipe securely positioned during welding, making installation easier and producing a stronger weld capable of withstanding higher pressures. All Socket Weld fittings are available with a 3.1 material certificate.

Material

ASTM A350 LF2 is a low-alloy forged steel designed for fittings, flanges, valves, and connectors operating at low temperatures. It is suitable for service down to:

LF2: -50°F
LF3: -150°F

The material offers excellent weldability and impact resistance.
