Information

Nipple 2'' BSPT Rc 150 mm A106 Steel is a double-threaded steel nipple used to connect two piping components. Ready-made threaded nipples eliminate the need for on-site threading, making the installation of industrial and heating systems faster and more efficient.

A steel nipple is also commonly referred to as a spigot, pipe nipple, threaded pipe, or male × male connector.

A106 Steel

A106 Grade B (also known as ASME SA106) is a seamless carbon steel pipe grade widely used in oil and gas refineries, power plants, petrochemical plants, boilers, and shipbuilding, where pipelines carry high-temperature and high-pressure liquids and gases.

The material is suitable for forming, bending, and welding.

BSPT Thread

The BSPT (Rc, ISO 7) tapered thread has a 55° thread profile and provides a pressure-tight seal thanks to its tapered geometry, often eliminating the need for additional sealing compounds.
