Operating principle: a steel shaft connected to the gearbox causes the mechanism to stop or slow down at its end positions after completing the required number of rotations.

Information

The Finecorsa GF4C rotary limit switch is used to control and measure the movement of industrial machinery, as well as the nacelle position or tilt angle of wind turbines.

Properties:

The limit switch consists of a gear motor that transfers motion to the cams and other motion-detecting devices through the main input reduction stage (worm gear and helical gear).
Precise cam adjustment using screws.
Positive opening of NC contacts for safety functions.
Mechanical life of switches: 10,000,000 operations.
Protection rating: IP65.
Resistant to extreme temperatures from -25°C to +70°C.
Resistant to salt spray.
Gear shafts and gear wheels are made of AISI 303 stainless steel. Self-lubricating gears are made of technopolymer.
The materials and components used are resistant to atmospheric conditions and protect the device against the ingress of water and dust.

Options:

Rotation ratios: from 1:1 to 1:969.
Can be equipped with 2 cam sets (with up to 7 switches), potentiometers and encoders, as well as Yankee absolute encoders (on a cam set with up to 3 switches).
Available with flanges, sprockets and couplings.
Available with direct control switches, preventing direct operation of the motor.
