Information

The rotary limit switch is used to control and measure the movement of industrial machinery or the position of the nacelle or tilt angle of wind turbines.

Properties:

  • Consists of a gear motor that transfers motion to the cams and other motion-detecting devices through the main input reduction stage (worm gear and helical gear).
  • Precise cam adjustment using screws.
  • Positive opening of NC contacts for safety functions.
  • Mechanical life of switches: 10,000,000 operations.
  • Protection rating: IP65.
  • Resistant to extreme temperatures: from -25°C to +70°C.
  • Resistant to salt spray.
  • Gear shafts and gear wheels are made of AISI 303 stainless steel. Self-lubricating gears are made of technopolymer.
  • The materials and components used are resistant to atmospheric conditions and provide protection against the ingress of water and dust.

Options:

  • Rotation ratios: from 1:1 to 1:969.
  • Can be equipped with 2 cam sets (with up to 7 switches), potentiometers and encoders, as well as Yankee absolute encoders (on a cam set with up to 3 switches).
  • Available with flanges, sprockets and couplings.
  • Available with direct control switches, preventing direct operation of the motor.
