What are Socket Weld (SW) flanges used for?

Properties of A105 Steel
A105 steel grade is a carbon steel commonly used for pipeline components and fittings. This steel grade is primarily used in pressure installations at ambient and elevated temperatures. It has good machinability. A105 is a steel grade with good weldability.
