Information

KLINGERSIL C-4300 gasket is a universal industrial sealing material. Its composition provides excellent compression resistance, while the gasket sheet features a low-adhesion surface, making installation and removal easier.

Recommended media

Recommended for: hot water, oils, steam, hydrocarbons, methyl alcohol, ammonia, benzene, gasoline, wet chlorine, ethane, ethylene, Freon 12, Freon 22, ethylene glycol.

Do not use with: aniline, cyclohexane, phenol, nitric acid (20%).

Test under operating conditions before use with: acetone, dry chlorine, chloroform, cresol.

How to install the gasket

Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
Inspect the gasket for damage.
Check that the flanges are not distorted.
Clean the flange faces and fastening components (bolts, nuts, and washers).
Align the flanges and bolt holes.
Carefully insert and centre the gasket between the flanges.
Do not use sealing compounds.
Tighten the flanges, ensuring that the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
