Information

Galvanized cast iron fittings are commonly used in various industrial sectors and central heating systems. Their main advantages are their price and general availability. They are used in installations with low requirements, for both cold and hot water.

They are made of malleable cast iron, while their surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing.

Maximum working pressure: 25 bar at operating temperatures from -20°C to 120°C.

Maximum working pressure: 20–25 bar at operating temperatures from -20°C to 300°C.

Galvanized cast iron fittings are manufactured according to EN 10242.

The surface is hot-dip galvanized, protecting it against corrosion and weather conditions.

Marking: fittings have the size stamped on them.

Available sizes: 1/8" - 1/4" - 3/8" - 1/2" - 3/4" - 1" - 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" - 2" - 2 1/2" - 3" - 4"

Galvanized cast iron fittings are not available in metric sizes.

The group of galvanized cast iron fittings includes: elbows, reducing elbows, tees, reducing tees, reducers, short bends, long bends, couplings, reducing couplings, caps, rimmed plugs, rimless plugs, T9 plugs, female threaded unions, nipple unions, unions with seals, tapered unions, straight nipples and reducing nipples.
