The 1/2" NPT Coupling AISI 316 Stainless Steel belongs to the group of threaded pipe fittings, providing secure and durable threaded connections for industrial piping systems. Material

AISI 316 / 316L (DIN 1.4401 / 1.4404) is an austenitic stainless steel with excellent resistance to corrosion, especially in aggressive environments containing chlorides and chemicals. It offers outstanding weldability, formability, toughness, and mechanical strength over a wide operating temperature range.

Originally developed for the paper industry due to its resistance to sulfur compounds, 316 stainless steel has become one of the most widely used corrosion-resistant materials and offers superior corrosion resistance compared with 304 / 304L stainless steel.
