Information

The 1" BSP Coupling PN50 is manufactured from 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel and is designed for threaded piping systems operating under demanding conditions. The fitting features female BSP threads on both ends, providing a reliable and durable connection for industrial process installations.

The titanium-stabilized 316Ti stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance and improved resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to elevated temperatures, making it ideal for demanding industrial environments.

Material

1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) is an austenitic stainless steel stabilized with titanium and containing a low carbon content. It provides excellent corrosion resistance and maintains its mechanical properties after prolonged exposure to temperatures between 425°C and 815°C, where titanium minimizes the risk of intergranular corrosion.

Typical chemical composition includes:

Carbon: approximately 0.06%
Chromium: approximately 17%
Nickel: approximately 12%
Molybdenum: approximately 2%
Titanium: less than 1%
