Information

Socket Weld Elbow 2'' 45° A105 Class 6000 belongs to the family of high-pressure forged Socket Weld fittings. The pipe is inserted into the socket before welding, creating a strong, leak-tight joint. The Socket Weld design simplifies alignment during welding and provides excellent mechanical strength for high-pressure service.

Each fitting is permanently marked with its size, material grade, heat number, and pressure class. All Socket Weld fittings are available with a 3.1 material certificate.

A105 Carbon Steel

ASTM A105 is a forged carbon steel widely used for piping components, flanges, and forged fittings operating at ambient and elevated temperatures. It offers excellent machinability, weldability, and mechanical strength for pressure applications.

Equivalent material grades: 1.0460, C22.8, P245GH, P265GH.
