Information about the Socket Weld Elbow

Elbow 2" Socket Weld 304L Class 3000 90° is a high-pressure welding fitting.

Socket Weld (SW) fittings belong to the group of high-pressure fittings where the pipe is welded into a socket. The welded socket creates a leak-tight piping system. The Socket Weld (SW) system provides safety, durability and permanent joint integrity. Socket Weld fittings make it easy to select the correct pressure class. Every fitting is marked with the size, material grade, heat number and pressure class. All SW fittings are available with a 3.1 certificate.

Advantages: the pipe does not require beveling before welding. Socket Weld fittings require no special preparation and are an excellent alternative to threaded fittings.

Limitations: not recommended for radioactive installations.
