Information

1/2" Socket Weld NPT A105 Class 3000 SW coupling belongs to threaded “high-pressure fittings.” Couplings are available in all inch sizes. Each coupling is marked with size, material grade, melt number, and pressure class. It guarantees safety and durability of installations. All threaded fittings come with 3.1 certificates.

A105 steel grade is carbon steel widely used in pipelines, flanges, and fittings. This carbon steel grade is mainly designed for ambient and higher temperature operations, as well as pressure installations. Good machinability, like any low-alloy steel. Notably, it is weldable.

Application: this grade is used for oil and gas transport, petrochemical plants, power plants, pressure vessels, etc.
