What is the Purpose of the 316Ti Steel Plug?
The 316Ti stainless steel plug is ideal for sealing chemical tanks, as it exhibits high resistance to aggressive chemicals. It can also be used for sealing boilers, as they are resistant to high temperatures. The plug with the addition of titanium, grade 1.4571, is an excellent choice for marine applications where there is contact with seawater. It is used in various installations for transporting crude oil and gas, where high durability and resistance to environmental conditions are required.
Information about material 316Ti
316Ti steel grade - is a stainless steel with titanium addition, and low carbon content. It can be used in highly corrosive areas. Very similar to 316 steel in chemical composition and mechanical properties. The addition of titanium is intended to reduce intergranular corrosion when heated in the temperature range of 425-815°C.
Steel 1.4571 has an average carbon content of 0.06%, chromium 17%, nickel 12%, molybdenum 2%, titanium - less than 1%.

Application of steel 1.4571: food industry, brewing industry, means of transport, ship tanks, for storage of liquefied petroleum gases, potrochemical industry, petroleum industry, pulp and paper industry, mining industry.
