Information
Nipple union 1/2'' sealing cone – is used in all industries, in central heating systems and for quick connection and disconnection of hydraulic systems. Fittings are used to connect fittings, pumps, industrial equipment, pipes, fittings, etc. The main advantage of galvanized cast iron fittings is the price and general availability. They are used in installations with small requirements, for cold water and hot water.
Fttings are made of galvanized cast iron. Their surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing.
- Maximum working pressure: 25 bar at working temperatures from -20°C to 120°C
- Maximum working pressure: 20-25 bar at working temperatures from -20°C to 300°C
Galvanized cast iron fittings are made in accordance with EN10242.
The surface is coated with hot-dip galvanizing which protects against corrosion and weather conditions.
The galvanized cast iron fittings have R tapered external thread, and Rp cylindrical internal threads, in accordance with ISO 7/1.
Rating: fittings have a stamped size.

- Galvanized iron fittings do not come in metric sizes.

It is noteworthy that the nipple union is used for quick connection and disconnection of plumbing systems, so it can certainly be used for hot and cold water and central heating.
