The 1/2'' 150lb 316L B16.5 weld neck flange is made from 316 / 316L stainless steel – austenitic steel with high corrosion resistance. It offers excellent weldability and formability. Originally developed for the paper industry, it is highly resistant to sulfur compounds used in processing. Due to its corrosion-resistant properties, 316 austenitic stainless steel is one of the most widely used corrosion-resistant steels, offering superior performance compared to 304L.
