Information
Material 316 / 316L type – it is undoubtedly a very popular stainless steel (austenitic) with high corrosion resistance. It unquestionably has excellent welding and forming properties. The initial steel produced for the paper industry because it has been shown to be highly resistant to sulfur compounds used in paper processing. Certainly because of its anti-corrosion properties, 316 austenitic steel, is the most widely used steel of the corrosion resistant group. Notably, it is superior to 304/L grade.
Undoubtedly, among the advantages of this steel grade it is non-magnetic, with excellent ductility, impact toughness, excellent weldability, good strength as well as, to work in a wide temperature range.

Stainless pipe nipple 2 1/2'' 100mm is used in: heat exchangers, pharmaceutical and dairy equipment, brewery industry, marine fittings, coastal architecture, food industry. It can be used to connect water, fuel, lubricant and other lines.
