Information
A234 WPB steel grade is primarily suitable for medium and high temperature applications. It is the standard grade used for pipe fittings. This grade is used more often abroad than in Poland. and it is worth noting that the Polish equivalent of this grade is, for example, K18, A106, St45.8. WPB designations are W - for welding, P - pressure, B - minimum yield strength. A234 WPB material is undoubtedly a very popular material for joining carbon steel pipes. The grade has applications in pressure pipelines.
Fittings in A234 WPB grade are: tees, reductions, elbows, caps, reducers.
