Sealing gasket DN80 PN10-40 AF-OIL

AF-OIL oil-resistant plate, recommended for high pressures and temperatures.

Continuous operating temperature: 300°C
Continuous working temperature in steam: 230°C

Application (medium):

recommended: oils, fuels, water, steam, salt solution, natural gas, propane-butane, ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, ammonia, benzene, gasoline, chlorine (dry), ethane, Freon 11 and 12, Freon 22, ethylene glycol, phosphoric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, sulfuric acid 20%, smoky sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid 20%, soap, potassium permanganate, kerosene, hydr. oil. (mineral) oil, silicone oil, air, trichloroethylene, sea water, ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide
before use, test under operating conditions: acetone, chlorine (wet), chloroform, cyclohexanone, phenol, nitric acid 20%, nitric acid 40%, ethyl acetate, oil hydr. (phosph. esters)
Do not use with: aniline, sulfuric acid 65%, hydrochloric acid 36%

How to install a gasket?

Check that the gasket is of the right size and material.
Check that the gasket has no damage.
Check that the flanges are not warped.
Remove any impurities from the surface of the flanges and the fastening elements, i.e. bolts, nuts and washers.
Align the flanges and bolt holes.
Carefully slide the gasket between the flanges. Center the gasket between the flanges.
Do not use sealing compounds.
Connect the flanges, making sure the gasket is not compressed or damaged too much.
