Information

316Ti stainless steel (1.4571) is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with a low carbon content. It is suitable for use in highly corrosive environments. Its chemical composition and mechanical properties are very similar to standard 316 stainless steel. The addition of titanium significantly reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures between 425°C and 815°C.

Steel grade 1.4571 typically contains approximately 0.06% carbon, 17% chromium, 12% nickel, 2% molybdenum, and less than 1% titanium.
