Information
Lap Joint flanges are used in conjunction with stub pipes. They are used in installations that require frequent cleaning and/or inspection.
Advantages of flanges:
- Free rotation around the pipe facilitates lining up opposite flange bolt holes.
- Lack of contact with the fluid in the pipe often allows the use of inexpensive carbon steel flanges with corrosion-resistant pipe.
- In installations that erode or corrode quickly, flanges can be stored for reuse
Grade 304 / 304L - is a standard stainless steel (SS 304L). The most versatile and widely used stainless steel, available in a wide range of products, undoubtedly has excellent forming and welding properties.
