Information
Camlock quick couplings are used to quickly connect and disconnect hoses without the use of tools. Quick coupling i.e. Camlock consists of a male and female part.
Quick couplings are made according to applicable standards, viz: U.S. MIL-C-27487/ UNI EN 14420 / DIN 2828, which ensures the ability to connect and replace parts from different manufacturers. These standards specify pressure, shape, materials and locking torque.
How does the Camlock quick coupling work? We connect two components, i.e. a male and a female. When the levers are turned to the locked position, they pull the male end into the female socket, creating a tight connection. The arms lock into position using an over-center geometry, preventing accidental uncoupling. Quick couplings ensure leak-free installation.
