Information about 180-degree buttweld elbow
The 180-Degree buttweld elbow 26.9x2.3 P265GH changes the direction of the medium at an angle of 180 degrees. The continuous metal construction formed between the pipe and the fitting increases the strength of the system. The smooth internal surface and gradual changes in direction reduce pressure losses and also minimize the effects of corrosion and wear.
Applications of steel buttweld elbows
Return elbows are commonly used by welders for constructing installations for the flow of liquids, gases, water, and oils. Return elbows, also known as Hamburg elbows, are favored by system designers because they allow for the elimination of a joint in the middle (a single weld). This reduces friction at the elbow bend, minimizes the occurrence of blockages, and decreases the risk of corrosion. Additionally, the P265GH steel grade is suitable for pressure installations, enhancing the safety of the system.
