What is a stainless steel welding tee?

Welding Tee 4'' × 2'' SCH10S 316L ASTM A403 is a butt weld reducing pipe fitting designed to create a branch connection between pipes of different diameters. It is widely used in industrial piping systems to divide or redirect the flow of liquids and gases while maintaining smooth flow characteristics.

How is a butt weld tee installed?
