A234 WPB steel grade is suitable for use at medium and high temperatures. It is a standard grade used for the production of pipe fittings. This grade is used more frequently abroad than in Poland. Polish equivalents of this grade include K18, A106 and St45.8. The WPB designation means: W – welding, P – pressure, B – minimum yield strength. A234 WPB is a very popular material for connecting carbon steel pipes. This grade is used in pressure pipelines.
A234 WPB fittings include: tees, reducers, elbows, caps and reducing fittings.
All fittings have a 3.1 certificate.
