Operating temperature range: from -12°C to +100°C (exceeding these temperatures may require additional lubrication)

Oil Loss – Additional Lubrication

Contact with absorbent materials should be avoided to prevent oil loss. Store the bushes in plastic packaging. Additional lubrication is usually not necessary but may be beneficial in severe operating conditions. This can be achieved by immersing the bush in oil heated to 80°C and leaving it until the oil cools down.

Shaft

It is recommended to use the bushes with hardened shafts or shafts with a well-finished surface. When using stainless steel, it is recommended that the shaft surface be polished or chrome-plated to overcome the abrasive effect of the material.

Shaft tolerance: h6 - h9 depending on bush tolerance E7.

Further Machining

Any additional machining should be carried out using carbide (K20 / 01) or a diamond-tipped tool.

Cutting speed: 100 - 150 m/min.

The working surface should not be ground or cut, as this will clog the pores of the material required for the lubrication effect.

In cases of very high loads, temperatures or speeds, lubrication may be necessary.
