DN250 PN10 TEMASIL NG gasket is manufactured from TEMASIL NG gasket sheet, widely used in petrochemical plants, oil transmission systems, the chemical industry, food processing and machinery manufacturing.

Application (media):

Recommended for: drinking water, oils, coolants, gases, crude oil, acetylene, ammonia, nitrogen, benzene, petrol, sugar, potassium cyanide, cyclohexanol, carbon dioxide, diethyl ether, ethylene, ammonium phosphate, butyl phthalate, natural gas, glycerine, ethylene glycol, dry chlorine, barium chloride, aluminium chloride, sodium chloride, dry hydrogen chloride, isooctane, potassium iodide, xylene, boric acid, formic acid (10%), tartaric acid, kerosene, mineral hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, engine oil, transformer oil, saturated steam, air, crude oil, copper sulphate, sodium sulphate, sodium hydrosulphide, turpentine, toluene, sodium carbonate, sodium hydrocarbons, water and calcium hydroxide.

Use only after checking operating conditions with: cyclohexanol, cyclohexanone, chloroform, hydrochloric acid (20%), sodium hydroxide.

Not suitable for: phenol, methylene chloride, nitric acid (20%), sulphuric acid (65%).

How to Install the Gasket?

1. Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
2. Check that the gasket is free from damage.
3. Ensure that the flange faces are not distorted.
4. Remove all dirt from the flange faces and fastening components such as bolts, nuts and washers.
5. Align the flanges and bolt holes.
6. Carefully insert the gasket between the flanges and centre it correctly.
7. Do not use sealing compounds.
8. Tighten the flanges while ensuring that the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
