Information

Coupling 3/4'' socket weld 316L cl.6000 - belong to the group of “high-pressure fittings” where the pipe is welded in the socket (inlet). Socket welded with a pipe form tight structure of the system. Socket Weld (SW) system ensures safety, durability and resistance to rupture of the system. Such welding is well praised by the welders. During welding, the pipe is inserted into the socket and does not move what ensures better freedom. The weld resists bigger pressures. SW fittings allow easy selection of the pressure of the system. Each fitting is stamped with size, grade, melt and pressure rating. All SW fittings have 3.1 certificates.

Advantages: the pipe does not require beveling for welding. Socket Weld fittings do not require special preparation, and are an alternative to threaded fittings.

Description: each fitting is stamped with size, grade, melt and pressure class. Sometimes also the type of thread (the manufacture and rating is in accordance with current standards).

Steel grade 316 / 316L – this is a very popular stainless steel with high resistance to corrosion. It characterizes with great welding and forming properties.
