Information
How to Install a Compression Fitting
- Clean the tube and remove any dirt or burrs.
- Slide the nut and cutting ring (olive) onto the end of the tube.
- Insert the tube fully into the fitting body and hand-tighten the nut.
- Tighten the nut with a wrench by 1 to 1¼ turns (depending on the fitting size). Marking the nut with a pen before tightening can help ensure correct installation.
A standard open-end wrench or adjustable pliers may be used.

Disassembly
