Information

Carbon steel (CS), or unalloyed steel, is a material formed from a combination of carbon and iron. Significantly important is also the content of other elements such as boron or copper, which does not exceed the limits and is regulated by PN-EN 10020:2003. 

Undeniably, it is a very popular steel used in large structures (bridges), elements of precision mechanics and, above all, in many items of everyday use.

It is noteworthy that carbon steel is easy to machine, weld, is not expensive and at the same time reliable.

Steel grade A106 - primarily a grade used for seamless pipes (also known as ASME SA106). Commonly used in the construction of oil and gas refineries, power plants, petrochemical plants, boilers, ships, due to the fact that pipelines must transport fluids and gases with higher temperatures and high pressures.

Pipe nipple 1/4'' BSPT Rc 150mm A106 is made of steel that is suitable for bending, bending and similar forming operations.

Due to the fact that the BSPT thread (profile angle of 55 degrees) is formed by a helical cut on the outer or inner conical surface, a tight connection is ensured without the need for additional sealing.
