Information

Carbon steel (CS), also known as non-alloy steel, is produced from iron and carbon. The content of additional elements such as boron and copper is limited according to EN 10020.

A106 steel is a material commonly used for seamless pipes (also designated ASME SA106). It is widely used in oil and gas refineries, power plants, petrochemical plants, boilers and shipbuilding, where pipelines transport fluids and gases at elevated temperatures and high pressures.

Pipe Nipple 4" NPT 100mm A106 is manufactured from steel suitable for bending, forming and similar fabrication processes.

Because the NPT tapered thread is machined on a conical surface, it provides a leak-tight mechanical connection without the need for additional sealing compounds.
