Information

304L stainless steel is the standard corrosion-resistant stainless steel (SS304L). It is certainly the most versatile and widely used stainless steel grade and is available in a wide range of products. It is worth noting that it offers excellent forming and welding properties.

Pipe Nipple 1" BSP 316L 40mm can be used in corrosive environments, the chemical industry, food industry, architecture, automotive industry and paint industry because the 304 steel grade from which it is made is resistant to food products, sterilization solutions, most organic chemicals and dyes, as well as many inorganic chemicals.

Other names: 1.4301, 1.4306, 1.4307, AISI304L, 0H18N9, X5CrNi18-10, A2 according to PN-54/H-86020 (replaced by PN-EN 10088).

Advantages of 304 / 304L: non-magnetic steel, excellent ductility, excellent impact strength, excellent weldability, good strength and a wide operating temperature range.
