Information
Galvanized iron fittings are generally used in all industries and in central heating installations. Their main advantage is their price and general availability. They are used in installations with small requirements, for cold water and hot water.
Fittings are made of malleable cast iron. Their surface is protected by hot-dip galvanizing.
- Maximum operating pressure: 25 bar at operating temperatures from -20°C to 120°C
- Maximum working pressure: 20-25 bar at operating temperatures from -20°C to 300°C
Nipple 3''x2'' galvanized cast iron is made in accordance with EN10242
The surface is coated with hot-dip galvanizing which protects against corrosion and weathering.
The galvanized cast iron fittings have R conical external threads, and Rp cylindrical internal threads, according to ISO 7/1.
Rating: the connectors have a bumped up size.

- Galvanized iron fittings do not come in metric sizes.
The group of galvanized cast iron fittings includes: elbows, reduction elbows, tees, reduction tees, reductions, short bends, long bends, couplers, reduction couplers, plugs, plugs with rim, plugs without rim, T9 plugs, screw fittings with female threads, nipple screw fittings, screw fittings with gasket, conical screw fittings, straight nipples, reduction nipples.
