About the TEMPLUS DN150 PN10 Gasket

TEMPLUS gasket is a universal gasket sheet designed for greases, alcohols, gases, coolants, most diluted acids and alkalis, hydrocarbons, and oil systems.

Recommended for: greases, alcohols, coolants, diluted acids, diluted alkalis, oils, acetylene, ammonia, nitrogen, benzene, gasoline, sugar, potassium cyanide, cyclohexanol, carbon dioxide, diethyl ether, ethylene, ammonium phosphide, butyl phthalate, natural gas, glycerine, ethylene glycol, dry chlorine, barium chloride, aluminium chloride, sodium chloride, dry hydrogen chloride, iso-octane, potassium iodide, xylene, boric acid, formic acid (10%), tartaric acid, kerosene, mineral hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, engine oil, transformer oil, saturated steam, air, crude oil, copper sulphate, sodium sulphate, sodium hydrosulphide, turpentine, toluene, sodium carbonate, sodium hydrocarbons, water, calcium hydroxide.

Use according to operating conditions: carbon tetrachloride, cyclohexanone, chloroform, hydrochloric acid (20%), sodium hydroxide, nitric acid (20%).

Not suitable for: phenol, methylene chloride, sulphuric acid (65%).

How to install the DN150 PN10 TEMPLUS gasket

• Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.

• Inspect the gasket for damage.

• Check that the flanges are not distorted.

• Clean the flange faces and fastening components (bolts, nuts, and washers).

• Align the flanges and bolt holes.

• Carefully insert and centre the gasket between the flanges.

• Do not use sealing compounds.

• Tighten the flanges, ensuring that the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
