How to Install the Gasket
- Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
- Check that the gasket has no damage.
- Check that the flanges are not distorted.
- Remove all dirt from the flange surfaces and fastening components such as bolts, nuts, and washers.
- Align the flanges and bolt holes.
- Carefully insert the gasket between the flanges.
- Centre the gasket between the flanges.
- Do not use sealing compounds.
- Tighten the flanges, making sure the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
