How to Install the Gasket

1. Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
2. Check that the gasket is free from damage.
3. Ensure that the flange faces are not distorted.
4. Remove all dirt from the flange faces and fastening components including bolts, nuts, and washers.
5. Align the flanges and bolt holes.
6. Carefully insert the gasket between the flanges.
7. Centre the gasket correctly.
8. Do not use sealing compounds.
9. Tighten the flanges while ensuring the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
