Information about the GAMBIT AF-200G gasket

GAMBIT AF-200G gasket – oil-resistant flexible gasket material, primarily recommended for steam applications. It is also resistant to water, fuels and oils.

• Continuous operating temperature: 320°C
• Continuous operating temperature in steam: 250°C
• Working pressure: 8 MPa

Application (media):

Recommended: steam, water, fuels, oils, ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, ammonia, benzene, gasoline, dry chlorine, ethane, Freon 11 and 12, ethylene glycol, phosphoric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, 20% sulfuric acid, 20% hydrochloric acid, soap, kerosene, hydraulic oil (mineral), silicone oil, air, trichloroethylene, seawater, ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide.

Test under operating conditions before use: acetone, wet chlorine, chloroform, cyclohexanone, Freon 22, 65% sulfuric acid, 36% hydrochloric acid, potassium permanganate, ethyl acetate, hydraulic oil (phosphate esters).

Do not use with: aniline, phenol, 20% nitric acid, 40% nitric acid, fuming sulfuric acid.

How to install the Gasket DN100 PN10-16 AF-200G GAMBIT?

• Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
• Check that the gasket is free from damage.
• Check that the flange faces are not distorted.
• Remove all dirt from the flange faces and fastening components such as bolts, nuts and washers.
• Align the flanges and bolt holes.
• Carefully insert the gasket between the flanges.
• Center the gasket between the flanges.
• Do not use sealing compounds.
• Join the flanges, making sure that the gasket has not been over-compressed or damaged.
