Socket Weld (SW) fittings belong to the group of high-pressure fittings, where the pipe is welded into the socket. The welded socket creates a leak-tight piping system. The Socket Weld (SW) system ensures safety, durability, and permanent installation integrity. SW fittings make it easy to select the correct pressure class. Each fitting is marked with its size, material grade, heat number, and pressure class. All SW fittings are available with a 3.1 certificate.

Advantages: the pipe does not require beveling before welding. Socket Weld fittings require no special preparation and are an alternative to threaded fittings.

Limitations: not recommended for radioactive installations.
