AF1000 Gasket DN80 PN40 × 2 mm is manufactured from GAMBIT AF-1000, a high-performance gasket material designed for high-temperature and high-pressure industrial applications. The gasket sheet provides excellent resistance to pressure fluctuations and dynamic operating conditions.

Recommended for: water, steam, kerosene, fuels, oils, ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, gasoline, ethylene glycol, soap, silicone oil, air.

Test under operating conditions before use with: ammonia, benzene, chloroform, phosphoric acid, potassium permanganate, kerosene, mineral hydraulic oil, phosphate ester hydraulic oil, trichloroethylene, ammonium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide.

Do not use with: acids, alkalis, acetone, aniline, wet chlorine, dry chlorine, cyclohexanone, ethane, phenol, Freon 11 & 12, Freon 22, nitric acid (20%), nitric acid (40%), formic acid, acetic acid, sulphuric acid (20%), fuming sulphuric acid, sulphuric acid (65%), hydrochloric acid (20%), hydrochloric acid (36%), ethyl acetate, seawater.

How to install the AF1000 Gasket DN80 PN40 × 2 mm

• Check that the gasket is the correct size and material.
• Inspect the gasket for damage.
• Check that the flanges are not distorted.
• Clean the flange faces and fastening components (bolts, nuts, and washers).
• Align the flanges and bolt holes.
• Carefully insert and centre the gasket between the flanges.
• Do not use sealing compounds.
• Tighten the flanges, ensuring that the gasket is not over-compressed or damaged.
