Information about the Weldable Steel Pipe Nipple

A106 carbon steel used to manufacture the pipe nipple, also known as carbon steel (CS) or non-alloy steel, is a material made from carbon and iron. The content of other elements, such as boron or copper, is also important and does not exceed the limit values specified by PN-EN 10020:2003.

It is a very popular steel used in large structures such as bridges, precision mechanical components and, above all, many everyday products.

Carbon steel is easy to machine and weld, economical and reliable.

A106 steel grade is used for seamless pipes (also known as ASME SA106). It is commonly used in oil and gas refineries, power plants, petrochemical plants, boilers and ships, where pipelines are required to transport liquids and gases at elevated temperatures and high pressures.

Pipe diameters: from 1/4" to 30".

Pipe Nipple 3/4" BSP Grade A106 is made of steel suitable for bending and similar forming operations.
