Information

316Ti steel is a stainless steel alloy with titanium addition and low carbon content. It can be used in highly corrosive environments. It is very similar to 316 stainless steel in terms of chemical composition and mechanical properties. The addition of titanium is intended to reduce intergranular corrosion after heating within the temperature range of 425–815°C.

Steel grade 1.4571 contains approximately 0.06% carbon, 17% chromium, 12% nickel, 2% molybdenum, and less than 1% titanium.
