Information about the Pipe

316L is a very popular austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance. It offers outstanding welding and forming properties. Originally developed for the paper industry, it proved highly resistant to sulphur compounds used in paper processing. Thanks to its excellent corrosion resistance, 316L is one of the most widely used stainless steel grades for demanding industrial applications and is considered superior to 304 / 304L stainless steel.

The main advantages of 316L include non-magnetic properties, excellent ductility, outstanding impact strength, excellent weldability, good mechanical strength and suitability for a wide operating temperature range.
